Hi, I'm Sabrina, a clinical social worker, here to support you on your journey to recovery and positive change. My education from Adelphi University encompasses various therapy modalities such as Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Compassion Focused Therapy, Systemic Family Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. I believe in an integrative approach to recovery that's tailored to each individual.

I'm inspired by my clients who take brave steps towards healing and am honored to offer support and guidance. I approach therapy as a collaboration to connect with a client's inner wisdom and empower them to make choices that align with their values. My non-judgmental approach creates a safe, trusting environment where clients can feel comfortable exploring their thoughts and feelings. By tapping into your inner guidance, we will work together to sustain lasting changes in your life.

I am a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) whose approach is rooted in the belief that therapy is a collaborative experience between therapist and client. A graduate of the University of Maryland School of Social Work, I have worked with individuals and families who face various mental health experiences, including depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, bipolar, and post-traumatic stress Disorder (PTSD), as well as those who are experiencing life transitions or feelings of stagnation.

Methods and interventions include tenets of trauma-informed therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing, and mindfulness. I work to honor the varied life experiences of each client or familial group, including their culture, specified identity, life joys, and interests. In our session, expect a collaborative, warm, and welcoming environment where your strengths will be honored and you can feel safe and supported to explore your feelings and emotions.

As a certified yoga instructor, Reiki practitioner, and trained herbalist, I believe in the connection between the mind and the body and the way in which the alignment of both can allow for more balance in one’s life. However, before that is even possible, honoring where you are and your experiences is important. With all that can occur in one’s life, having a safe space where you are heard, without judgment, can be helpful to assist you in moving forward in a more empowered way.

I am an experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in individual psychotherapy with children, teens, and adults with depression, anxiety, ADHD, and behavioral health-related disorders. My philosophy is to help clients be able to explore their feelings in a safe, non-judgmental environment. As a clinician, I am hopeful I will be able to support you in finding joy, satisfaction, and stability in your everyday life.

As a therapist with a background in social work and substance use counseling, I am able to work with you to identify further resources and needs you may have outside of traditional talk therapy. My goal is to help you reach your highest potential as an individual and support you in navigating life's obstacles.

Beginning the process of engaging in therapy is a difficult step and I applaud you for considering it. I want to invite you to enter a space where you can express your deepest concerns in a safe and confidential environment. Please feel free to reach out for a free 15-minute consultation to see if this is the right next step for you.

With nine years of dedicated experience in providing care to individuals through behavioral health research and social services and therapy, I have developed a profound connection working to help my patients. I employ a patient-centered humanistic approach, ensuring that each individual feels heard, respected, and empowered. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing techniques to foster a supportive environment where patients can work toward both short-term and long-term goals.

I have spent three years providing therapy in community healthcare settings and have extensive background work, including providing care and publications working with the LGBTQIA+ community. This experience has enriched my understanding of diverse patient needs and reinforced my commitment to accessible, compassionate care. By integrating evidence-based practices with a deeply empathetic approach, I am dedicated to helping individuals navigate their unique journeys toward mental wellness and personal growth.
